GTV box with revue... Need help please.

Sorry to bother you again.

But, I looked at that app "Android Assistant" It looks like its a phone app.
The screen shots are all in portate mode, no landscape.

Are those screenshots just old ? I will get the app once I get home if, it will let me install it.

That app works great on the TV, it will remain in Portrait mode while you use it.

ok im home from work. I downloaded android assistant.
I go into it. I get a message saying "landscape mode not compatible" or something like that.
Then it gives me a message saying "press any key to exit"
As soon as i hit any key BOOM it exits. Bummer.

Also i deleted the cache in that app we were talking about "voyages" and now everything is working again. YAY!!!
So i guess with 18MB free space it would not install or update anything. Good to know.

Your advice was perfect. Thanks again.

Maybe the author will update it to work with GTV one day.

Sorry about the Landscape Mode thing, i completely forgot that you need to install an app called "Orientation Control". This app must be side loaded onto your device, it is not a free app but it is well worth the price.

"Orientation control" ok, got it. I will get it once i get home from work today.

What is "side loading"? Does that mean I download it to my PC and put it on my USB drive and install it from there?
Is that difficult to do?
