I'll be glad to run any tests you suggest.mcd2000 wrote:I'll need much more testing. Unfortunately, I can not see anything unusual in logs.Mr. Protocol wrote:I ran some brief experiments tonight. Re: Video player with audio switching (GTVBox Video Player)
I apologize in advance if this has already been asked but it seems that the Search feature is disabled.
On my Co-Star, when I press 'R' or 'T' an alert is displayed: "alt soundtrack offset set to 0 msec"
It doesn't seem that pressing these guys changes this value in any way.
Any idea what's happening?

It only works for an attached external audio file, not for embedded audio tracks.cyansmoker wrote:I apologize in advance if this has already been asked but it seems that the Search feature is disabled.

Any chance you plan to add an option to delete files?
Since I use different devices to watch shows and they all track watched shows differently, deleting a show after its been watched would make tracking things easier.
thanks.

Technically it is possible, but ideologically I still do not want Write access to shares.surge wrote:Any chance you plan to add an option to delete files?

You can use ES File Explorer for this.

Anybody been able to get GTVBox to mount SMB from a Mac?
Has anybody been able to get GTVBox to mount an SMB share from a Mac running 10.7 or later? My GTVBox won't even see that the share is out there. Way to go Apple, writing your own SMB implementation...
Conversely, it'd be even better if GTVBox implemented Apple File Protocol (AFP) someday, for mounting shares.

I use it with 10.8. However, only in Anonymous mode and with manual IP adress.Mr. Protocol wrote:Has anybody been able to get GTVBox to mount an SMB share from a Mac running 10.7 or later? My GTVBox won't even see that the share is out there. Way to go Apple, writing your own SMB implementation...

Can't watch this file on Co-Star, why?
(I posted this in the wrong place, I think, so reposting here.)
Hello, finally figuring out the best way to use my new Co-Star and GTVBox. I've had to use MP4Tools on Mac for several files in order to transcode DTS to AC3 audio while passing thru AVC video, which has worked quite well.
My problem is with a particular file which won't play on the Co-Star. Can you look at the MediaInfo and tell me why?
Thanks!

Multiple external subtitles
How can I get GTVBox to recognize multiple external subtitles? In other apps its possible to name the subtitle files like movie.es.srt or movie.en.srt and then you can choose between English or Spanish while watching. This doesn't seem to work with GTVBOX.
