is there any update on this project?

hi,
i have a new html based skin option that is coded, but i got kinda bored creating the default skin and got sidetracked. hopefully it will be out soon, though my default skin will be pretty rough as i dont really enjoy playing with images and maps. so hopefully folks will create some nice skins.

Have you released your code on github or other social coding sites?

No and at least in the short term I will not be release source code, as the code is a mess and will be changing quite a lot once I get skins the way I want them. HOWEVER that said the skins will be completely created outside the code of the app and will be able to be added after install. Unlike the stock UI, the skin UIs will not be baked into the Android Resource files. The version I am currently completing will use full html to create the skin. My default skin will be a simple image map, but people can get creative.

If you think you app is solid wed like to consider featuring it on the blog.

I was just using your GTV remote again, it would be nice if the app icon was to match the new logo for the GTV,i would be willing to donate a little something for your time....

I'm not sure if I can legally. I used the other one because it was included in the Google open source project and was covered by the apache license. If someone wants to come up with a cool icon I would be happy to add it to the next version.

How about you ask the nice folks at GTVhacker if you can use the popcorn eating Android.
