Cannot get past setup. [Connection Error]
I am on the User Debug build and can't for the life of me get past the setup. The internet connectivity works, but as soon as I finish picking my TV provider and Telling them the channels I get, I can't get past that part. It pops up with [The service is not available] with cancel, help, and retry as options. I have tried to get this to work with Ethernet, WiFi, and both. Does anyone have a solution or a workaround?

Re: Cannot get past setup. [Connection Error]
What time are you attempting this? At night? I had the same issue and someone pointed out that the registration servers/services are disabled at night.
Try in the morning/mid-day/afternoon and see if you can set your TV, Receiver, Box. I was frustrated trying over and over to set mine but I was always doing it at night. Tried it the next day after finding that info and everything registered just fine.

So this is the "time" issue?!
I am having the same problem right now, its 20:58 European Time.
So You say i'll have to try it on other time?

Re: Cannot get past setup. [Connection Error]
I think that 'corrupted firmware' is an urban legend, the servers are overwhelmed with the christmas sales.
My story looked like this:
- 17:30 local eu (11:30 AM US) unpacked and linked the Revue to my tv and av
- 18:00 local eu (12:00 AM US) went through the initial setup (there was no 7of11)
- 19:30 local eu (01:00 PM US) cable guy came and set my a digital decoder
- 20:00 - 22:00 local eu (02:00 PM US) tried to set up box at Revue - failed
- 22:30 local eu (04:30 PM US) i did a factory reset - and from that, i couldnt get even through the initial setup coss i had a 7of11 issue.
Next Day
- 07:30 local eu (01:30 AM US) i did run the initial setup with no problems and the set up of tv service provider with no problem...
So it must be the server issue, not the firmware problem.
TV is controled now from revue/harmony300 as my "Ferguson 100 Cable" is supported by it, the only problem is with the US local services like "search guide" and other like netflix/pandora.
I hope that sorts few things for fresh users.

There was an article going around about Logitech shipping new devices with corrupted firmware but i have not read one post anywhere stating that someone received a bad Revue,( meaning brand new out of the box).sug83 wrote:I think that 'corrupted firmware' is an urban legend, the servers are overwhelmed with the christmas sales.

Yes, it is a relief that it works nicely (almost perfect).
The Logitech Harmony 300 have lots of problem with channel changing through the Revue..the rest is working just fine, with the guide show up, stop, record, increase/decrease volume...
Is there any solution?
I have read about the "delays"?
