hi gtv users,

i got logitech revue and loving every bit of it,
though it would be the coolest device on earth, if it could receive and decode IPTV udp multicast stream,

do you know if that is going to be possible via app later, or is it technically impossible (why)?

I tried to find an app for android phone with no success.
That would be perfect app for tv platform, i guess.

i would pay for this app

Im allso a waiting costumer :-)
It would be so fantastic, if this tool could work.

However the next wish is allready popping up in my head.
And that's EPG on the channels. So its searchable on the searchbar :-)

Im now using xmltv on my mediacenter, maybe this allso could be used on GTV.

Anyways I'll be waiting on the HC update.

@ Rokazas and mcd2000 and all other members.
Is you hear or see anything about UDP-streams on the Google TV please notify :-)

Thanks

Well there is one alternative I know, but it has few limitations and it is not that user friendly.

As I understand, one can create media server in DD-WRT(or OpenWrt) router that can forward modified streams to your devices
One great feature it offers is you can stream that IPTV with your android phone.

It`s not one click solution nor to install, nor to play video, but if it suits you- try.
Personally I didn't try this yes, as my router's rev number is not yet supported by DD-WRT :/

You can find more here:

I look forward for an GoogleTV App, in which i can manage my channels, create logos for them, so it is smooth not for me just functionally, but visually pretty too , so all my family could use that.
