Finally!

New Google Play for Google TV that allows you to watch movies and TV shows purchased from Google Play!

Have you gotten this to work yet? I get the following error when I try to play premium content in the new Movie/Tv app:

Premium content isn't available because the system software installed on your device is too old. Please update it to the latest version.

I haven't updated since I rooted with the Four USB stick method. I'm not sure what version I'm on but it's probably a couple behind. It looks 3.2_2012080801 is the latest. I'm assuming that I need to install it to get this working?

At one point Zenofex mentioned that a packaged upgrade for rooted users might be coming: http://forum.gtvhacker.com/sony-release ... html#p6297. Has anyone heard more on that?
