I was wondering if anyone has achieved the creation of a custom recovery. If so, please post it. If not, can someone tell me if it is possible to flash unsigned zips (other than kernels) from the stock recovery.
Also, is the boot loader locked? Can't find that anywhere. Thanks.

Re: Custom Recovery? Unlocked Boot loader?
Custom recovery is a nope, at least for now.
Namely, the recovery kernel, recovery ramdisk, and system kernel, are all encrypted/signed. The bootloader refuses to boot a non-encrypted image. There is yet no way around the encryption/signing thing. If there was, we could do a little bit more (custom recovery, remove kexec), but kexec accomplished most of what we wanted to.
Not saying we don't want the ability to load our own kernels from boot - we do, but encryption is a pain!
