Stay rooted etc but return to stock splash screen/ animation

lemme get straight to the point. i may be able to get fry's to return the blue ray player for store credit where then i can by the 2nd gen box. now i say may because the person i spoke to over the phone said that they need to turn it on and check a couple things before possibly making it okay. anyhow i dont want to go back to stock because if they decide not to offer me store credit i dont want to go through reinstalling everything . the dead give away is the sony gtv hackers boot image. i need to change that to stock. can someone provide an explanation of how to do so and also attach the stock animation
