I just acquired a nsx-40gt1 and a nsx-24gti both google tv had 20120109 firmware. I was trying to downgrade the nsx-24gt1 to 2012.01.26 GTV 3.2 OTA. when I plugged in the tv holding the power button, I had the flash drive connected with firmware package_list_DMA-1_ASURA_2012012601_AAV_ORSC.714d1fc2. when the tv came back on it updated another firmware 2012022201_aav_orsc.201202220101411. is there another way to flash the 2012012601 firmware..Dont want to mess with the 40gt1 yet. any help or information whether I can flash the 20120126 firmware.

I bought the same television on launch but the current firmware sucks more every day as new versions of apps keep crashing on old system and i can't downgrade anything!

I have the Sony NSX-24GT1 - has the Factory installed OS, original unit (new in box). I'm unable to upgrade the Firmware, as the file is not available directly from Sony's Update link.

Any options available to upgrade manually - what are the preferred methods?
