Can't go to recovery menue

Post by ndgayan »

I cant go to recovery menue.... Please help me !!!!!!

I have HC 3.1 user debug build (b58801)

first I flashed original recovery using http://forum.gtvhacker.com/revue/topic254.html

after I did adb reboot recovery ----> Reboot it like normal (Don't show TV with Down Arrow)

Press reset button display TV with Down Arrow and that time
press ALT + L -----> Not going to recovery menue
press Fn + Left Arrow --------> Not going to recovery menue

Any one have any Idea to access recovery. Did I do wrong?

Also I can confirm DTS audio on .mkv files still does not work.

EDIT: Factory reset fixed all problems.. DTS still does not work.

That's too bad about the DTS audio - so disappointing. This box is useless to me without DTS. I guess I'll be keeping the Boxee Box after all. :(

I'm having the same problem, revue refuses to accept commands from my keyboard on the recovery window. It eventually reboots back into the build.

Only difference is i'm not using HC 3.1 but the beta build.

Yes. On my tv. I had the GTV and my Tivo on and the message poped up onscreen.
I waited awhile and then it just shutoff and then updaated itself.

Firmware version: 3.1
Build number: ka-userdebug 3.1 KA2X-20110901.113032 userdebug-

If someone could let me know if they think it's safe to load the update I'd appreciate it.
Thanks
You are on userdebug so you are safe to load the update.

Thanks,
Zenofex

So this requires no use of adb??

I was on user debug as well, but my Revue decided to update itself. Although, everything FC'd (Apps, settings, etc.) until I did a Factory Reset.
