Digital Snow after wifi update wtf?

after this image, it will do 1 of 3 things...
1. go black (and never go back... sorry couldn't resist)
2. Flash random snow of the same splash screen posted in the image
3. TV will give up trying to tune the signal and just post a "no signal" message on screen
