Hi all,
sorry if that's a rather stupid question, but does anyone know how to enable ADB on the revue without upgrading to Honecomb?
I want to be able to install software and maybe debug it using the ADB. I already searched the web and this forum, but i only found how to enable it when running HC.
I did go to applications->development and checked 'Remote debugging' but ADB still is not available via adb connect<ip-address> also port 5555 is not open on the device. Only ports 52 and 5222 are open.
Can anyone give me a hint on to get ADB running?
Many thanks in advance.
Greetings, chris

If you are referring to stock GTV, its not available. Theres no market available. Stock as far as I know, has no method for interaction beyond the browser.
ADB doesnt exist on other versions, hence why its not mentioned.

I don't need the market, i just wanted to be able to install self compiled application. But i guess that's not possible either with stock.resno wrote:If you are referring to stock GTV, its not available. Theres no market available.
Do you know if the HC image still has OpenGL and Video HW-Acceleration available?
