System sounds are very low but app sounds have normal volume

Bought an open box NSZ-GT1 and found that all of the system sounds are barely audible but all apps have normal volume when running. Factory reset had no effect. Anybody know how to normalize the system sounds volume?

Thanks

Rollback possible from Rooted to pre-rooted?

Is it possible to rollback to an earlier rom by changing the build.prop? That way I can maybe revert the splash to stock and it would still be possible to update to the 20122601 rom again to be able to keep working on the problem if it persists? I'm under time constraints because I bought my NSZ-GT1...

Re: Remove Root

I just Un-Rooted by doing a manual USB update to the stock version of 2012.01.26 but it didn't replace the GTVHacker splash. System info shows a legit build so I'm pretty sure it's no longer running the unsigned kernal. There's a problem with my NSZ-GT1 stuttering when it plays back mkv files with D...

Re: Re: DTS dropout - Could it be related to being rooted?

OK, good to know. Since I have no problems with other players and those files, it seems that it's probably a defect in my NSZ-GT1. I just Un-Rooted by doing a manual USB update to the stock version of 2012.01.26 but I still have the DTS stuttering and the GTVHacker splash. I'll move this over to the...

Re: DTS dropout - Could it be related to being rooted?

Just wanted to add that this problem is with playing the older (Lossy) DTS, not the newer DTS-MA/HD (Lossless) version. I've checked the Sony support forum and the only problems reported were for lossless.

Re: DTS dropout - Could it be related to being rooted?

I rooted my NSZ-GT1 immediately after opening the box so I don't know if this problem is related to having rooted it or not. Both the GTV Media Player app and GTVBox stutter in the same way when playing back mkv files using DTS. It pretty much always happens. I'm playing them over Twonky 7.0 or the ...

Bought mine yesterday at BestBuy for $280 and it came with a build from 2010.

Re: Now that NSX-GT1 and NSZ-GT1 exploited. Now what?

Hey It seems to have done just that. I applied the exploit and it went perfectly but it unfortunately seems to have broken the playback of 3d Bluray. If I insert a 3d Bluray it starts and throws an error about not detecting either a 3D Compatible TV or 3D compatible Bluray player. I have to do some ...
