Re: Vizio units are reported to be shipping

Awesome wizziwig - thanks, helps hold us off for a few days until our boxes arrive. However, if possible can you also upload / , or at least the /init.rc and init.*.rc scripts?

Thanks!

Re: NSZ-GS7 root

I would agree with you if android devices were difficult to downgrade. I have never heard of such a thing as waiting for more people to own a device to release a hack Well, Google TV devices are incredibly more secure for no good reason - so downgrading the box after the fact would be quite difficu...

Re: LG47LM6700 upgrade to Google TV? ROM?

Well I'll preface it with a "maybe". Best way to find out is to gut both TV's, and compare part #'s. Assuming the hardware is all identical - then yes. However, I'm not sure why they would put a dual core ARM cpu in a non-googletv. Of course, they may be doing it to save money, but without...

Re: NSZ-GS7 Canadian OTA link

I've updated the wiki for now, of course anyone can edit it if you want to change it up a bit. There are the other regions updates too, but keeping track will be difficult to say the least. So, if you find more updates, please share!

Re: NSZ-GS7 root

Yeah, it goes without saying we are waiting to release - namely we want more boxes to be shipped out, and more people to have them. Right now, it would be quite foolish to release an exploit that only a handful of people could use.

Re: BETA: Revue Root (Not for general public use)

I think I've found a way to permanently root Logitech Revue. After you got root-access using nandpwn, execute this two commands: rm -R /data/av_timing_logs ln -s /dev/mem /data/av_timing_logs This replaces a folder on the data-partition with a symlink to /dev/mem. Because "/data/av_timing_logs...

Yeah, just a heads up - we've been working on persistence all week, just have a few more hurdles to get over.

Re: root #2

that is actually more of what i was thinking. I am on 3.2 with nuetered recovery, would we be able to apply http://forum.gtvhacker.com/revue/topic254.html to get unneutered once temporary root is in place? Well, you should be able to. Issue is, the box will randomly update the recovery version (loo...

Re: UART Bootloader Root/Rebooter Release (Unsigned Kernels!

Well, since the GTV is quite different, you can't flash a rom per-se. However, what you can do is replace just about everything - if you want to replace the running (kexec'd) kernel you can, if you want to edit boot, you can, system - you can. As for recovery, you can't replace that (signed), but yo...

Re: [Issue]NTFS USB Storage

What firmware version are you on? NTFS worked fine here the last time I tried it (latest version).
