Re: root #2

anyone try ota root keeper? it would, theoretically, be able to bring root back after a reboot...but not at boot. you would have to wait for system to boot, then open the app. save the headache of running the exploit after every reboot.

i'm not even sure if it runs x86. just throwing out ideas.

root #2

OK so the gtvhacker guys released the root exploit for revue. They feel its out of most peoples league to do so they opted not to make a user friendly release with some form of instructions. So can some elaborate on how to go about it? Build the root binary and.... run thru adb?

Its been too long.

Anyone done this yet?

Why wouldn't you be able to build and flash ROM or recovery?

Re: Sony NSZ-GT1 is an x86 version of HC so why cant it....?

Locked boot loader will never let custom ROMs onto the box and x86 GMTV is dying. The newer boxes are arm based.
Maybe after root is released it'll be developed further. In wouldn't hold my breathe.

Re: [Q] Interesting issue with my Revue

Wrong section. His should be in trouble shooting.

I often play HD content thru flash drive and dont have a problem. Try factory reset. What player do you use? I use logitechs mostly.
