Re: 24"GTV

I can't believe I read the whole thing! :P The only real thing that I saw that can add to the mix is that the sony kybd rocks. I am actually writing with it. I have written probably 4-5 short stories, and a couple hundred twitter posts heh. Best remote I have ever owned. Just wish it had some kind o...

Re: NSX-GT1 and NSZ-GT1 exploit to run unsigned kernels!

3.2 is buggy for me. I wish you had a downgrade option for the OS version too. But I digress. Can't thank you's guys enough! I was about ready to donate this damn tv to the cause, I was so frustrated using an unrooted Android! Just a little curious tho... if I can fully restore to sony's recovery, h...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1

I believe there is a forced orientation on Sony GTVs. I may be wrong, but since there is no orientation sensor, it makes sense. I think I can wait for these particular apps to be flagged for use with GTV. Just a fear based reaction, I am sure, due to almost having to reformat to factory when one of ...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1

Some coolness so far: Installed GMail.apk, maps.apk, only some GApps zip file resources, misc other apps, like utilities for clearing cache, more browsers like FF 7 & 8 beta and Opera mini, Crackle app, etc. Many FCs from the above. Gmail FC'd as soon as I installed it. Then the 2nd time launchi...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1

~~~ Things I hope HC brings: right click ability /better external mouse support. actual tabbed browsing ability to add gapps, etc. better app management ROOT! I know, never gonna happen, but my hope is that once HC is realeased we will see an unprecedented hackability on these boxes! I know, but a ...
So it appears that November 3rd is the end of summer!
Turned on Sony this am and picked up the HC update... I am sure its based on serial number, or something, but to those in the PHX... finally got some love! No GApps, all of the market apps are somewhat limited, but i do recommend classy fireplace, for that "When nothing's on TV" type of da...
Re: Honeycomb 3.1
Yeah, I saw that on googletvforums as well... but guess what, chrome on this box still sucks (as a browser), and I can't wait to ditch it the minute we get market! So must have been a security update? Meh. Things I hope HC brings: right click ability /better external mouse support. actual tabbed bro...
Re: Honeycomb 3.1
OMFG! Dateline: September 25, 2011 2:48AM While watching reruns, my Sony Google TV informs me that there is an updated that needs to be performed! Screw the reruns! Give me fricken Honeycomb! Click "Install Now"! After a lengthy, maybe 5-10 minute update, system rebooted... Sony logo, same...
Re: Honeycomb 3.1
It's basically the end of summer and no sight of HC. Alot has happened to Google, more concerned with buying Moto Mobility instead of handling completing updates promised back here in May at Google I/O 2011. What does buying Motorola do for those of us who have invested in Google's seeming failed I...
