Re: Rooting Revue - USB->TTL device
In that picture with the pins - the pins were installed after the fact. Furthermore, that device should probably work, just make sure its 3.3v. If it doesn't work, your only out $2 - not too bad.

Re: Discuss HC 3.1 after installed/ Bug report
I honestly can't wait to get home tonight so that I can try this out. Supposedly HC for the revue has ADB support built it, so you should be able to connect via USB and adb to the revue, again no root access but should have the ability to perform various functions over adb without having to hardwar...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue
Can someone help me out? Trying to upgrade my revue to Honeycomb 3.1, but I don't have the original keyboard anymore. In stead I'm using the Logitech Mini Controller for Google TV. The upgrade procedure requires to press press the FN key (in yellow) and the left arrow (to the left of the OK button)...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue
Slightly different, instead of pressing FN and Left Arrow, just press Alt+L, and you should be set (following the rest of the procedure, replacing just that step)long2know wrote:Does anyone know if getting into the recovery menu is the same after flashing the 3.1 beta?

Re: Discuss HC 3.1 after installed/ Bug report
I installed Honeycomb and went through the set-up without a hitch. I powered-off/unplugged the Revue a while later after the setup, and now when I turn it on, it seems to be stuck at the splash screen. Any ideas on what might cause this or a fix? Can you try to re-install the update by going back i...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue
Im still in the Recovery menu. E:file /sdcard/update.zip not found or of the wrong type................. Since this happened to someone else - are you running windows? If so, your file may be named "update.zip.zip" (the second .zip being hidden). Try removing one of the .zip 's. If your s...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue
Do i rename it to just update.zip, or must i have 1b3a6b1aa9fd.mp-signed-ota_update-b55579 included? Just to update.zip, then copy it over and you should be good to go - it worked here. Formatting data Formatting Chrome Formatting Cache Still nothing, installation aborted!! Did the recovery menu co...

Re: New Modified Updates?
Unfortunately most updates in the past few months have done nothing more than make the revue worse - namely each update just fixes flash security bugs, and there really is no need to fix them.
By all means, if someone were to exploit that (flash player for GTV), we would be happy to hear about it!
