Re: Logitech Revue 3.1 Official Release

I just got home from a few days away- lost chrome, so factory reset and everything is fine now. How do I confirm I've received the OTA update? I had no message alerting me to an update (was on 3.1 user debug) So loosing chrome is rather common I take it. You know you are on the official release whe...

Re: Logitech Revue 3.1 Official Release

I was on the debug and also got the update. I broke the box however as it somehow killed chrome, all the chrome based links (Crackle, Roku, even the app store.) Luckily on a whim I did a factory reset and it fixed itself. It even restored my apps so all I had to do was restyle my home screen.

Re: Confirmed Working Apps

Has anyone been able to get a Honeycomb Hulu Plus app to work?

Re: Audio cuts in and out and sometimes totally util a reboo

Actually I had audio blips before the update but not since. Before the audio on most services including Netflix (but not Pandora as I recall) would lose a second or so.

I'm still convinced that we don't have the final beta. I hope we see an update soon.

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue

Some have reported that it seems to want to replace an existing box with the same thing but fails. Like the failure is related to it knowing already that you had that somehow. In that case can you add something else, something you don't have then re-add the correct box?

I'm not in front of my box but I think it's still in settings. Input devices if I recall. You get to the system setting by using the "all apps" on the taskbar.

Re: accessing recovery mode/receiving OTA's with the 3.1 bet

I know that during the setup my box got stuck on the network screen. I was using wireless and it couldn't move forward from "scanning". I plugged it into the ethernet and it still wouldn't move forward. I hit crt-alt-del and it rebooted back to the same screen but moved forward after detec...

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue

one other thing. My unit fails wireless until it starts. I had to use an ethernet cord to get past set up. Is that possibly what's failing the reboots as well? It's a longshot, but an idea to try anyway.

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue

What happens if you hold down the reset button? It won't do the boot up, cut off, and (release button) reboot into recovery? I think at that point you may have to hit alt-l

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue

I have seen places lie about the release date to the press so they could start rolling it out incrementally though. Keeping the server load down. I know Roku does it with their players and LG seems to do that with their BR players. We'll see though. Once the first person reports it as live the load ...
