See you when Honeycomb is released (hopefully!)

I just returned my Revue. It has so much potential and I really hope the official version of Honeycomb addresses some shortcomings. My requirements centered mostly around local (network) media streaming. I can live with DLNA, but I just can't deal with the lack of DTS and the terrible Logitech Media...

Re: DLNA that work with Revue

I'm working with Serviio right now, which seems to be a fairly full featured free DLNA server. I may stay with this one. So far I cannot get it to index properly, but it does provide more careful controls over the way the folder structure is presented to the Revue, so at least I can have more effici...

Re: DLNA that work with Revue

I also tried PS3MediaServer, which I got to work after some fussing around. However it won't index my content so I can't use the search feature, which is a deal breaker for me. Not sure if this is a configuration issue, as PS3MediaServer is pretty complex. Can you tell me how you got PS3MediaServer...

Re: DLNA that work with Revue

Like you said, This Beta, HC 3.1 is still in beta, it has not been officially released yet, there are alot of bugs still, you cant expect greatness and perfection in a beta release, give it some time, continue to dig and research. As i am typing this,my Revue rebooted, again. lol damnit I am sure you...

Re: DLNA that work with Revue

Resno and Killer -- I'm trying my best here. I really like the concept and Honeycomb is definitely showing promise. I can even live with the clunky DLNA media streaming and Logitech Media Streamer. But the lack of DTS is killing me. I really was hoping this could replace my WDTV Live for local media...

Re: DLNA that work with Revue

I've found that Twonky works great as a DLNA server for Windows. I also tried PS3MediaServer, which I got to work after some fussing around. However it won't index my content so I can't use the search feature, which is a deal breaker for me. Not sure if this is a configuration issue, as PS3MediaServ...

Re: Discuss HC 3.1 after installed/ Bug report

Hi all, I've updated to hc without problems and everything works fine, except one (important) thing: MKV Playback doesn't work for any file, they worked with the stock firmware (2.2) but now they don't work. I already did a factory reset, but it did not work :( Xvid works flawless... Anyone knows h...

Re: Confirmed Working Apps

Has anyone gotten video to play in Plex? I have the app working (using wifi), but I can't get anything to stream form my Plex server. I get an error message each time that says it can't play the file followed by "null".

This is the kind of solution I'd love to see for local streaming.

Re: Discuss HC 3.1 after installed/ Bug report

My brand new Revue (finally) arrived from Best Buy. I got it all set up with stock firmware quick easily. Then upgraded to Honeycomb, also fairly easily. Thankfully I didn't encounter the issues that some people seem to be having during setup. To be honest, one of the bugs that affects me most is th...
