I had the worst issue with some videos played directly on my GS7.
I recorded my own desktop with an unplayable lossless codec,and then I converted them to a "working" one.

Maybe there is a way to "dig" into a copy of REL11 and find out "what makes it tick".
If you can find out how/if it is even possible,you could also modify the REL11 copy to make it execute a series of functions to get root access.

I have two gameboy/color emulators running on my Sony box.

For full speed without sound,use Kidd GBC.

For laggy speed,various glitches,but half decent sound,use mobileboy.
