Re: GTV Android APIs
Can the Revue detect (via hdmi?) whether or not the TV is physically turned on, so a background service in a running app could take some kind of action and shut down a few minutes after determining that the user appears to have turned off the TV?

Re: Honeycomb 3.1 released for Logitech Revue
In case anybody is having problems with the bootloader failing to react to Fn+left-arrow, I was able to fix it by just reformatting the 3 partitions as though I were re-rooting my Revue. I removed the power cord, plugged in the USB drive, connected the power, waited a second, held the button until t...

Re: 3.1 Development
Try downloading CatLog from Android Market. It can capture logcat output and save it to whatever the Revue uses as its /sdcard equivalent (assuming, of course, that it HAS one...)
Launch CatLog, start capturing, launch your app, go into CatLog, and see whether something is throwing an Exception.

Re: Rooting Logitech Revue
Update... It appears that 3.1 is still unrooted, installing it will unroot a rooted Revue, and as always, it's a one-way trip with no future ability to re-root on the radar at this time. Sigh. Limp along with rooted Froyo to keep future possibilities open, or eat the poisoned fruit and be jailed in ...

Re: Rooting Logitech Revue
I'm pretty sure I rooted my Revue (when I reboot it, it has the "GTVHacker" logo), but the moment I define the network in setup, it starts downloading an update. Am I supposed to let it complete, or is there something else I have to do after rooting before I can use it for the first time? ...
