I stream to GTVBox using a SAMBA share on my Mac 10.6.8. No DLNA. This file doesn't work either when attached to GTV via USB drive. The files does play using aVia media player. Could you send me the file somehow? Stop... Try to rename it to smth simple like 1.avi. It could be a naming issue... Here...

How can I get GTVBox to recognize multiple external subtitles? In other apps its possible to name the subtitle files like movie.es.srt or movie.en.srt and then you can choose between English or Spanish while watching. This doesn't seem to work with GTVBOX.
