Re: Upgrading from rooted 2.1 Revue

I am on 3.2 and loving Plex and AirTight! All that's missing is XBMC which would make the Revue better than my recently acquired Apple TV gen2 (jailbroken). All I had to do to upgrade from rooted 2.1 to official 3.2 was to upgrade to 3.1 Beta (revue/topic15.html). One note, ALT+L to get into recover...

Re: Upgrading from rooted 2.1 Revue

I've been reading up. Let me know if this sounds right... - Upgrade to HC 3.1 Beta (http://forum.gtvhacker.com/revue/topic15.html) - From 3.1 Beta, upgrade to 3.1 User Debug (http://forum.gtvhacker.com/revue/topic170.html) - The OTA update should install fine from the 3.1 User Debug (http://forum.gt...

Upgrading from rooted 2.1 Revue

Hello all, Its been awhile... I rooted my Revue on 2.1 awhile ago and had it stored in a closest for the last few months. I recently got a Plex Server setup so I'm looking to try out the Plex Client for Google TV. How do I go about upgrading my Revue from 2.1 to the latest? I believe the hack firmwa...

Re: Running rooted 2.1: How do I get the update

Just wanted to check in...

I have a rooted 2.1 that I never updated to the leaked pre-release 3.1, so that makes 3 of us. Two more to go :)

Any updated ETA on HC 3.1?

Just wondering if there has been a more firm release date on HC 3.1 (non-beta) for the Revue?

Re: Netflix on a rooted 2.1 not working

Can we get a third (or forth) person to confirm or deny this?

Does Netflex work on your rooted 2.1 Revue?

Re: Rooting Revue - USB->TTL device

Good news. I successfully rooted my Revue last night using the USB->TTL mentioned in this thread. The one I received was different from the one in the pictured in the actual auction (BTW, its now $4). http://dl.dropbox.com/u/42238/usbttl.jpg I struggled with it a little bit, until I realize I had to...

Re: Netflix on a rooted 2.1 not working

I rooted my Revue last night and had the same exact issue. But as a disclaimer, I was using a friends netflix account which I never used before so I'm not sure if that's related.

Re: Is this possible? (NAS)

I'd like to use my Revue as a NAS. What I was thinking was rooting then installing a SMB friendly file manager and connecting a 500 GB USB hard drive to the Revue. Is this possible? Not SMB, the revue only supports DLNA for now (or, until someone makes an app!) I believe the OP, was asking if he ca...
