when i try to do firmware upgrade it gets to 100% then says verifying and then says download failed. I'd assume that it's corrupted if it failed. Grab a file manager, clear it out of cache, and try to download it again. If it still fails, try running the following code, which reverts back to allowi...

Have you tried another app, like BubbleUPNP? I know with it, aVia had issues seeing some of my stuff, and I just used that, and let it do the work, at least for my Media server.

Unfortunately, this is a limitation with the hardware, and it only works for the NeoTV itself. There is currently no provisions for TV/STB/Other Device power controls.

can the Neo gtv control the TV and set top box like the other gtv boxes. The net gear support guy I talked to said it only controlled the Neo TV. I really think he was wrong but just wanted to check with someone who owns one. It can control the NeoTV, a Set Top Box, and TV.. Mind you the later have...

Ahh.. Blasted Logitech! Maybe well get this all fixed in time. We've managed to get a temp root, so we're making progress. We can't change the file from system partition right?

Looking at it, I'm not sure as far as the file goes and being signed, but I think we could do it, if it's not for the signature. Push the file, run the root, then flash the file. Let's see if Zenofex can comment on this though, so we don't brick them though.

What I want to know is, can we un-neuter the recovery, at least leaving us an open upgrade path if we do anything to stop it.

I just did it. It's a cake walk if you follow the video. It took me nearly 5 minutes tops, which is because I watched the video, then followed it as it played again. Now if only we can figure out how to get su to stay and have a permanent root.
