Sorry to revive an old posting, but I've been wondering about this too. At current prices ($99 and under), I'm more willing to risk bricking a new Revue with a blown hardware mod. otoh, I imagine hacker interest will migrate to other devices, so my fantasy of running Debian or XBMC on a modded Revue...
