Did you manage to get the stock exploitable update on your machine so you could start over with the root exploit ?

Re: Rooted sony google tv but no flash support

Go to http://whatsmyuseragent.com/ on your computer and just put in exactly what you see there for the user agent.
You must reboot your GTV box before it takes effect.
Reboot your device by pressing ctrl+alt+del after you set the user agent.

Re: NSX-GT1 and NSZ-GT1 exploit to run unsigned kernels!

I used these types of USB sticks that I had laying around : PNY 1 gig Sandisk cruzer 4 gig Fusion Plus 8 gig & the last one from my kids ba...

Re: Rumor: New update coming in Monday patching Sony exploit

how can i tell if i have been upgraded? if i have, does it mean no root? go into system info & see what version you are on. I don't think it will update unless you give it the okay to install, so say no when it asks. If it has been updated than you can not root until they figure out another way arou...

Per the guide I believe you just boot in to the restore screen & do a factory reset & it will restore it to original & get rid of the hacked boot screen & root.

Re: NSX-GT1 and NSZ-GT1 exploit to run unsigned kernels!

Do you have a link or a thread title to search for the Win32DiskImager.exe instructions. I am getting a read error when I try to instal the first image & I have tried 3 different USB sticks so there is still something wrong with the way I am writing the images to the USB stick I think. Here are the...
Try using the button on the TV instead of the remote.
That was it. Thanks. I did not realize that their was a power button on the lower right of the set. My other question was would Win32DiskImager.exe work for transferring the images. The answer is yes it works great and is easier ...
