has anyone figured out a way to remove the root? i cant seem to find the OTA that needs to be installed to remove it; thanks!

i checked sony's website and there is nothing there

How do I do this??? I thought I did a system reset but I dont think it did anything.

My SMB shares also "fail to connect" since the last update. They'd worked so well since GTV came out, I'd downloaded a bunch of .srt's and generated moviesheets, too. I've tried rebooting all devices, using the SMB's IP address, clearing the application cache, remove/reinstall of GTV, rem...

Dish boxes "talk back". So you would need to hack the DirecTV receiver too, and that gets "interesting" to say the least. Needless to say, it's not advised!
