I know this is an old thread, but just in case the OP still checks it...........
Turn the TV audio down before you switch to your AV receiver.
The HDMI cable transmits audio as well as video, so you'll get audio from your TV along with the audio from your reveiver.

Hi all, new member here.
I've had my Revue since August and love it.
Have a question: Can Beautiful Widgets be used on the Revue?
I installed it, but can't for the life of me figure out how to use it.
