Re: Trouble Using Bootloader Exploit
What is your firmware version? Google might have pushed an update. You can check in the Windows/OSX app. http://i.imgur.com/xBo7aC6.png

If you're having issues, and don't care to run a virtual machine/ live CD, here is what I did since my main PC is broken. Boot Ubuntu 12.04 32bit Live CD Search for "andadb" with quotes, download and execute the script. Choose 1 and 2. get source and compile Getting ADB set up on the VM to...

Try this method to force an update check. Worked for me after the third try. Nick040489 wrote: Actually you don't have to reset the device. That's more of a pain. You can follow the same method that they have used for the Galaxy Nexus and the Motorola Xoom 1. From your Revue, head into Settings>Apps...

12:53PM central time. Still no update. Could being on the broken 3.1 update be an issue?

Re: Revue 3.2 (HLS) is being rolled out now!
Hopefully this update won't break the root exploit. If it does, would the exploit be released sooner? My only use for root on my Revue, for now, is fixing the /system misigned apps I have because of the 1st HC update that had misigned apps. But it would be nice to have the option of rooting.

Re: system apps will not update on 3.1 ... help please
Apparently there were two different update.zip files posted by zenofex, four days apart with the newer one detailed in an update to the OP. "Update .zip has changed a bit, updated versions of a few apps with same build number." I'm going to try flashing the newer one because I believe I m...

Re: Google Play not updating
I'm guessing the users who manually updated through the leaks and what-not (I'm one of those) have different signing keys than the actual pushed out OTA, preventing the /system apps to be updated with the different signature the Market versions have.... I think you're right. I looked at logcat as t...

Re: system apps will not update on 3.1 ... help please
I am having the same problem. I looked at logcat with DDMS and it's saying that the new apks are not signed correctly(aka different keys). So unless we get root and /system R/W, or Logitech/Google pushes a quick patch that replaces the apks in /system, there is NO WAY to update these apps.
