I've been sideloading apps for awhile but it's really annoying when you have to update apps that work perfectly fine from the play store manually. I've seen hacked market apps on XDA before that allow you to install apps that weren't meant for your device, does anybody know if the same can be done f...

overclocking

I wonder if it's worth attempting to overclock for increased performance now that the kernel is unsigned?

Re: NSX-GT1 and NSZ-GT1 exploit to run unsigned kernels!

I'm having a bit of trouble actually downgrading the kernel. I was able to flash the four USB drives successfully, however when I go into recovery and press 3 after I put USB1 in the front slot, it asks: Do you really want to update the system? I press 1 for yes, get an updating popup but then it sa...

Re: Video player with audio switching (GTVBox Video Player)

sorry if this has been asked but I watch a lot of anime and I was wondering if it's impossible for vobsub support to come in the future for this app/platform. Thanks! Also I was wondering if it was possible to get basic image/slideshow support, basically make this into a real DLNA replacement :mrgre...

you can download the apk at their offical website.
Thanks, I'm glad there's an alternative, I hope they release a PPS for ICS devices in the future, having both would be great!

Have you tried Orientation Control app from GTVHacker Dropbox? I have few apps running after installing Orientation Control.
I did not see that, I will certainly give it a shot, thanks for the heads up!

PPStream

This is a long shot but I was wondering if anybody got the Android version of PPS found here:

http://dl.pps.tv/pps_android_download.html

to work on Google TV. It installs fine but force closes, I'm wondering if it's because portrait mode is not allowed on Google TV devices?
