Victory! Just after my last update, I tried one last thing before throwing the Revue in the trash And it actually worked! My key change is to remove the USB drive from the Revue! zenofex I will fix it later, but I wold like to understood how it works first. We disconnect an UART. This UART connect SOC with USB Flash controller. It is mining that not any controller can be used - so I will try different USB flash pens before restore revue. About revue boot sequence 1. Bootload...

Could you please give us explonation to this solution? Did I attach cords to some UART (in USB mode)? Has kernel some options to mount device at this uart and does it have driver for keyboard? And how it process Ctr+Alt+Del command?

I did solder job and it looks good. But Ctrl-Alt-Del combination doesn't work. Please look at photo

I would try Zenofex solution to fix my revue with applied the 55579 firmware and wich remains only in the splash screen.

I have the same problem with my Revue/brick. I can't get recovery mode with any combination of sink button, USB flash or buttons on keyboard.
Does anybody has solution? I can't believe that this situation have no solution.

Just thinking out load You did format the pen and you did rename it to update and you have done alt-l fingers pressed down Try hitting alt- L 20-30 TIMES REAL FAST. and have you tried to get into recovery with no usb stick inserted dont know if you can but worth a try Other than that mate not sure ...
