ok so im tired of waiting on this ota, so with that being said, i am flashing the recovery using adb again , then installing the ota update from the 1st post on this thread via usb. it is installing as i speak now it is saying sentinel is not found wiping data. Not sure what this means. I will rest...

I can confirm that you will get the official 3.1 update with the userdebug. I was actually in the process of setting up the android stk so I could install the un-neutered recovery and do the upgrade manually when the update popup showed up.
