I have the same issue on both my Revue's. One of them has always been kept stock. The other had the user debug build, then updated manually to 3.1 stock. This pretty much sucks.

Successfully installed the official update over the debug version. Thank you zenofex...you are the man. Just needed a reflash of that recovery and then alt + L worked like a charm. I tried twice and then, still in recovery, pulled it out and stuck it into the slot next to the ethernet...
