Successfully installed the official update over the debug version. Thank you zenofex...you are the man. Just needed a reflash of that recovery and then alt + L worked like a charm.

Should I try to reflash the recovery? Menu just refuses to come up...

idk but i have a box with the debug in it and i would like to try to update...already have access to a usb jtagger just in case things get messy. any word on where we can get it since the link got redacted?

No those are the commands to run after you flashed recovery back into the box using the original post. This will access recovery for whenever the official is released as an update.zip

Thanks for the response parrot. If the update isn't going to get pushed to debug boxes, then wouldn't you have to have a hw rooted box to pull the update.zip from? Just trying to know what to do if one pf my boxes gets the update soon I could probably upload it for the community.

Have not gotten the update option to populate yet. Waiting for the OTA official release to be uploaded on the net somewhere so I can update manually. How will I access recovery menu with this image that I pushed into the box? Any word on the manual update being ready online soon?
