so i had this working for the first hour or so. I got through about an hour of a movie, then it stopped.

the error was "sorry, gtvbox could not play this media" or something similar to that

i figured it was just a quick error and tried to play again. same thing.
same thing when i try to play any ...

so i bought gtvbox player and now im having problems. when i try to load a video (say from my USB or from Icestream), the little wheel just keeps spinning and wont load the video.

anyone know how to fix this?

got my update last night.

i got worried, i turned it on and my chrome was missing and i couldnt connect to netflix. Did a factory reset and it updated my device and now its awesome. they def fixed some of the laggy-ness with the scrolling and the new netflix is way better

search for this but didnt find anything.

would it be possible to use one of those boxes that converts coaxial into HDMI and then plug that box into the revue to watch live tv?

now the b58801 is the second update, correct?

it must have been the fact that my macbook automatically unzips when it downloads, so before i had to recompress into update.zip

my pc worked just fine, its updating now.

im gonna try and d/l it on my pc instead of macbook. will report back

still nothing. this is getting frustrating.

i am, i tried multiple too. i heard theres one on the gtv dropbox, can you link me to that and ill try that one?

i redid all those steps, still nothing. never ran into this kind of error when doing this on my phone
